A native Houstonian with familial roots in Austin, Alexis is currently employed with The University of Texas at Austin. In her role as Assistant to the Deputy in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, she assists in furthering the office’s strategic, programmatic, and operational priorities while coordinating projects and providing analysis on student and institutional trends.

 

Having spent over 10 years working in higher education, Alexis has experience in program coordination, project management, advising, and is skilled in increasing 4-year graduation rates among college students. Outside of work, she is actively involved in the Beta Psi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Junior League of Austin.

 

Alexis is a graduate of UT Austin and also received her master’s in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania prior to spending a short stint in London, England. She enjoys politics, crime documentaries, and road trips with her mother and grandmother.
